18.4 - 22.4.13

- I had the dentist on the 18th, Liam came with me since I'm a big baby.

- My Mum and me finally had our massage at a little place called Revive in Uddingston. I loved the facial and the neck and back massage the most, but they couldn't do my nails because I start back placement soon. I had Gordon's car while he took mine for it's MOT - which it passed with flying colours. Afterwards we went to MacInnon Mills for my Mum to try on dresses. I tried on a bridesmaid dress for lols.

- After having the massage it made me want to pamper myself so I ended up doing my own nails (must remember to take off nail polish tonight) and a hair and face mask with a lazy day in the house.

- It was Earth Day on the 22nd so I decided to take an idea from Pinterest and bake cakes. They turned out very cute. Took them to my Mum's so that I didn't scoff them all before I went to agility for the night. Izzie only had a couple of runs as she wasn't feeling up to it. George was his usual speedy little self.

Alton Towers

Amanda picked up Marie first and then me, we left at 4am. The journey wasn't too eventful - although Marie did get lost in a service station.
We got to the park at 9.20, picked up our tickets and went in. Had an amazing day even though we were all knackered and the Blade (a stupid little swinging ship) made us a little vom. We had lunch at a Pizza Pasta Buffet (basically a Pizza Hut), and the weather was lovely. We were so tired when we got home we skipped dinner, Amanda and Marie fell asleep instantly, I had a bath then done the same.

The second day was just as good. We started off with an unhealthy McDonalds breakfast (sausage and egg McMuffin, my first tasting). The weather was that good I even got sun burnt  Amanda bought some hilarious ride photo and when we left we drove to pick up a Two for Tuesdays Dominos, but I only had 2 slices as trying very hard to be good.

We left the next day at 9.45am, the drive home was great but rain started as soon as we hit Scotland.

11.4.13 - 14.4.13

- Izzie and George sure do get into some funky positions on the couch. Anything for some comfort.

- Dragged myself to the dentist on Thursday. I had needed work done forever but finally gave in as I've had toothache all week. It was never as bad as I imagined it to be and the dentist was (surprisingly) lovely compared to last time. My face was numb for most of the day but George kept me company. I've to go back on the 18th.

- Amanda came over on Friday so Liam could made us CDs for the car drive to Alton Towers (Marie couldn't come as was finishing her dissertation). It was noted that my hair looked like it had been professionally done - maybe I'll wear it like this more often.

- Became a Dr Who addict over the space of 2 weeks. I caught up to the current episode and went as far as making myself a juiced drink to celebrate.

- Liam and me went to dinner at my Mum's house on Sunday night. We had left over lasagna with lots of sides. We were spoiled and stuffed.

- I got a top comment on YouTube for saying that I got engaged at the Harry Potter Studios. It's like a weird lifetime achievement.

Start of April

A catch up for this month to begin;

-My Mum and Gordon gave Liam and me some awesome chocolate filled mugs with these little fluffy chicks for Easter (we got attached to one called Prince which my Mum dropped into the skin, I had to bring them all home to live). Oh, and double yolk eggs! It's the simple things in life.

- I made Quesadillas - twice this week. Taste too good.

- I bought an awesome Firefly t-shirt. I found a website called teemagnet.com which updates daily with such geeky goodness. I'm addicted.

- Liam and me had some fun trying to get Izzie's pawprint to frame. We still have to do George's - but he'll take some cooperation and just doing Izzie's took it out of us.

- Gordon got my Mum and me a massage, facial and to get our nails done for a Christmas present - which we couldn't redeem until today. But when we got to the salon at 10.30 (when we had booked in) this morning it was closed! We were raging (though a bit relieved as we're not really into being touched much, such weirdos), and so treated ourselves to a massive big breakfast at the garden centre instead and then went for a nosey around a wedding dress shop. My Mum is desperate for me to try on stuff but I want to lose just a little weight or I'll no doubt take a huff. I brought home Liam a huge slice of banoffee pie. Yum.

I take so many photos. It started last year when I decided I wanted to keep a Project Life (well, a kind of scrapbook hybrid), which I love doing. But I realised that while pictures speak a 1000 words, I would quite like to remember the words and memories which go along with them. The thing is, I end up with details of my life everywhere - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

And so - hello blog. Random musing of everything and anything in my life. Hopefully I can put everything here which will make it easier for my little brain to put all the pieces together. Lets start this beautiful journey of documenting my life.
